ABOUT US
Our Story Proudly Serving the Community Since 1962
In a small town like Greenville, Texas, customer service is a must. Crumpton TV has provided exceptional customer service since its inception in 1962.
After leaving the Marine Corps, Murray Crumpton went to school on the G.I. Bill to study radio and television repairs. The instructor of the program was Eddie Moore, founder of Eddie Moore TV in nearby Commerce. Murray worked for a few television shops before venturing out on his own to establish Crumpton TV & Record Shop in April of 1962 in a small garage on Maple Street. The business operated out of that "small garage" for a year and later moved to 2409 Stonewall Street in 1963, to 2704 Washington Street in 1967, and 6006 Wesley Street in 1985. The present location at 8602 Wesley Street opened in February 1997.
Crumpton TV originally specialized in television repairs and sales but now also offers appliances, satellite installation and repairs, and appliances.
Dale Crumpton and wife Kay purchased Crumpton TV from his mother and father in 1987 and have continued to grow the business to this day. Dale and Kay have three children who are presently employed by Crumpton TV — two sons and a daughter, Kody and wife Kim, Chad and Rebecca.
Crumpton TV has always supported other local businesses and organizations including local schools, booster clubs, yearbooks, sports leagues, local auctions, Alturas, United Way, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, and many more. Our number one goal is to continue to provide old-fashioned customer service the same way it was provided out of that "small garage" back in 1962.
We proudly serve the areas of Greenville, Royse City, Commerce, Caddo Mills, Quinlan, Campbell, Cumby, Sulphur Springs, Rockwall, Wolfe City, Cooper, Farmersville, and Celeste, Texas.
